A secluded Rim lake with an island in the middle. Rent from us in Mesa, about 2 hours and 45 minutes away.
THE LAKE
Knoll Lake is a secluded mountain lake on Arizona's Mogollon Rim in Coconino National Forest. At about 7,300 feet, its 75 acres are ringed by ponderosa pines, with a scenic island near the center and water nearly 50 feet deep.
Only single electric-motor boats are allowed, which keeps kayaking and paddleboarding on Knoll Lake calm and quiet. Fish for stocked rainbow trout, camp at Knoll Lake Campground, and take in views from the 2,000-foot Mogollon Rim escarpment. Rent your kayak or paddleboard at Redline in Mesa, about 2 hours and 45 minutes from the lake.
